YORKSTONE HOUSE
Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, this farmhouse sits amid rolling hills and open countryside – a peaceful backdrop that shaped our design. Our clients wanted to optimise the space for a growing family and to sensitively modernise the space, whilst maintaining its character.
The Design
Throughout the home, we opted for a warming and calming colour palette, layered with natural textures that reflect the surrounding landscape. We brought the old beams back to life and the addition of sheepskin rugs and textured furnishings to act as subtle nods to the flocks grazing outside the windows.
We designed bespoke joinery to sensitively accommodate storage. We combined custom furniture with antiques and carefully detailed architectural elements to bring a timeless elegance and a quiet sense of luxury to this Yorkshire family home.
